Reason for Donation

These Pinus thunbergii black pine and Pinus densiflora red pine were gifted by the Hiroshima Tomochi Kai to mark the 10th anniversary of the establishment of their association. The trees were originally planted to the northwest of the Peace Memorial Hall; however, they were moved to their current location due to park reconstruction works. 

(Tomochi is a county in Shimane Prefecture)
