On May 1, 1981, the Honolulu Japanese Chamber of Commerce and the Hiroshima Chamber of Commerce and Industry established official sister chamber relations. This Cornus florida dogwood tree was planted in 2006 at a commemorative ceremony as a symbol of 25 years of their relationship.
