Dogwood Initiative 2001 (9) Dogwood-planting Activities
During the three days between November 16 and 18, 2005, with the participation of children from six elementary schools in the Kyobashi-gawa River area and citizen tree-planting volunteers, approximately 400 dogwood trees were planted in all areas of the Kyobashi-gawa Riverbanks.
On November 18 Mayor Akiba also took part, deepening exchange with participating citizens and children.
