Poland, like Japan, has experienced in its history the worst atrocities of that war can bring. Palace Museum, King John 3 in Wilanow wishes to contribute to carry the message of peace to the whole world. Our motto, let them be the words of King John 3, in a letter addressed to his sister, Catherine Radziwill dated August 14, 1670 year.
Maximum comfort is to have people around him who led us to the good, and not spoiled our hearts.

Our school created a club called Hatching peace in honor of Sadako's wish for world peace. This year we made 1000 paper cranes to donate to the memorial. In the years to come we will continue to make cranes and send them around the world, spreading the message of peace.

After visiting Hiroshima in December 2016 and witnessing a school's donation of origami cranes, I too felt moved to donate my own collection of 1000 cranes in honor of Sadako Sasaki and other victims of the atomic Bombing. May it never happen again.
