I send this paper crane because Sadako was so brave,and she never gave up. |

U.S.A. | My experience with this project is similar to how we as a people approach coflict, obstacles. And controversy. We avoid what worries us until yhe consequences of our inaction are staring us in the face. Peace cannot be maintained through passivity. If we wish to inspire. promote, and maintain peace, we must realize that we cannot wait until we are on the brink of catastrophe before we act. Peace is achieved by the wonderful everyday actions of good people across the globe. Peace is realized by volunteering in your community, helping your neighbor, or by inspiring some goodwill among your family and friends. If we all could devote each day to performing a single good deed, this unreasonable world would be a bit more reasonable because of what we would accomplish in the name of peace. What we do matters. |
