Notice to Parents/Guardians Regarding Attending Designated Elementary Schools

Please be informed that the period which students are allowed to attend schools located outside of their designated school districts (non-designated schools) will end on March 31, 2025.
As such, we would like to remind parents and guardians to submit the attached Notification of Enrollment to the designated school in your child’s school district to complete the transfer procedures. You will also need to obtain the necessary documents for school transfer from the non-designated school that your child is currently attending and submit them to the designated school.
Note: If you have a valid reason that meets the criteria for transferring to a non-designated school and would like to let your child continue attending the same non-designated school, you will need to reapply before the period ends. For information on the abovementioned criteria, please visit the City of Hiroshima’s homepage. You may access the website at the link below.
If you have any inquiries, you may either contact the school that your child is currently attending or direct them to the School Affairs Division (see below).
