Ms. Boosayarat BUADUANG

In Satun Province the amount of genral and toxic waste is increasing, and systematic waste management is necessary for mitigating effects on soil, air and water. Because of this, Ms. Buaduang learned mainly about waste reduction and recycling, as well as public health, and waterworks and sewerage services.
Ms. Buaduang visited the Peace Memorial Museum and attended the Peace Memorial Ceremony. She also participated in the World Peace Bell Assembly (organized by the Hiroshima UNESCO Association).
Ms. Buaduang spent 3 days and 2 nights at a local homestay and met with Soroptimist International of Hiroshima-Chuo.
Utilizing the results of this training, she plans to draft strategic environmental management systems.
