Training
Mr. Jamtsho participated in training programs mainly regarding environmental conservation and city planning at the Environment, Planning and General Affairs, Citizens Affairs, Roads and Transportation, Sewerage, Waterworks, Urban Development, Urban Revitalization, and Health and Welfare Bureaus.
Peace-related training
He deepened his understanding about the reality of the atomic bombing and the preciousness of peace through visiting the A-bomb survivors’ nursing home Mutsumi-en and attending the Peace Memorial Ceremony on August 6.
Exchanges with citizens
He interacted with Hiroshima’s citizens through visiting the Kami-nukushina Elementary School and participating in the Environment Supporter Network and International House Festival.
Future plans
Mr. Jamtsho plans to help educate citizens about methods of waste disposal and separation of household garbage.
