Mr. Mohd Faizal Bin RASHID

With a wish to learn about wastewater and garbage management systems, educational activities for citizens about recycling and energy-saving technology, and garbage reduction methods, Mr. Rashid received training in the fields of environmental preservation, public health, and waterworks and sewerage services.
Mr. Rashid visited the Peace Memorial Museum and attended the Peace Memorial Ceremony. He also participated in the General Conference of Mayors for Peace and the World Peace Bell Assembly (organized by the Hiroshima UNESCO Association).
Mr. Rashid spent 3 days and 2 nights at a local homestay, met with Soroptimist International of Hiroshima-Chuo, and attended citizen events.
Mr. Rashid plans to utilize the knowledge and technology acquired during this training to set up solid waste management guidelines and to raise awareness and understanding among citizens about environmental problems.
