The Hiroshima City Municipal Tax Information Center was established by the City of Hiroshima for the purpose of contacting residents who have not paid their municipal taxes, National Health Insurance premiums, Long-Term Care Insurance premiums, Late-stage Elderly Medical Care Insurance premiums, or childcare fees by their due date. Residents who have not yet paid will be urged to do so via telephone and will be provided with information about how to pay by account transfer.

The operation of the Information Center has been entrusted to a private enterprise. The Information Center is open Monday to Friday, as well as some Saturdays, Sundays, and national holidays.

  • Monday–Friday: 9 am - 5 pm (9 am - 8 pm approximately two days per week)
  • Saturdays, Sundays, and national holidays: 9 am - 5 pm (approximately four days per month)

For consultations about paying your taxes, contact the Tax Payment Department, Finance Bureau, City of Hiroshima.

Be Wary of Scammers!

The Information Center will NEVER do the following:

  • Ask you to use an ATM to recieve a refund or make a payment
  • Ask you to transfer money to a designated bank account

Note: The Hiroshima City Municipal Tax Information Center also manages the operations of the Hiroshima City Childcare Information Center, which confirms the employment status and other information pertaining to the parents/guardians of children enrolled in daycare centers in Hiroshima.
