Mistakenly Issued Municipal Tax Demand Notices
In general, it takes approximately one week (two weeks if payment is made at a financial institution outside Hiroshima City) from the time taxes are paid at a financial institution until payment can be confirmed by the City of Hiroshima.
Therefore, depending on when taxes are paid, the City might mistakenly issue a demand notice.
If you receive a demand notice despite having paid taxes, please contact the Payment Department so we can confirm your payment status.
