State Ministers in FY2018

Mr. Abul Hassan Mahmood Ali, Minister of Foreign Affairs of People’s Republic of Bangladesh, visited the Yano-Orizuru-en nursing home in Hiroshima on May 15, 2018.  Minister Ali also visited the Peace Memorial Museum and the Atomic Bomb Dome and offered a flower wreath at the Cenotaph for the Atomic Bomb Victims later that day.

H.E. Mr. Roberto Ampuero Espinoza, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Republic of Chile, visited the Peace Memorial Museum, offered a flower wreath at the Cenotaph for the Atomic Bomb Victims, and visited the Atomic Bomb Dome on September 16, 2018.

Hon. Amb. Dr. Augustine Philip Mahiga, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the United Republic of Tanzania, listened to an atomic bomb survivor’s testimony, visited the Peace Memorial Museum and the Atomic Bomb Dome, and offered a flower wreath at the Cenotaph for the Atomic Bomb Victims on October 8, 2018.

H.E. Prof. Dr. Khaled Atef Abdelghaffar, the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research in the Arab Republic of Egypt, met with Mayor Matsui, visited the Peace Memorial Museum, and offered flowers at the Cenotaph for the Atomic Bomb Victims on October 10, 2018.

H.E. Mr. Didier Reynders, Minister for Foreign Affairs and European Affairs, visited the Peace Memorial Museum and met with Mayor Matsui on October 31, 2018. He also listened to an atomic bomb survivor’s testimony, offered a flower wreath at the Cenotaph for the Atomic Bomb Victims, and visited the Atomic Bomb Dome later that day.

Hon. Mark A. G. Brantley, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Aviation of Saint Christopher and Nevis, visited the Peace Memorial Museum and the Atomic Bomb Dome and offered a flower wreath at the Cenotaph for the Atomic Bomb Victims on November 3, 2018. 

H.E. Mr. Vincent Meriton, Vice President of the Republic of Seychelles, visited the Atomic Bomb Dome, offered a flower wreath at the Cenotaph for the Atomic Bomb Victims, listened to an atomic bomb survivor’s testimony, and visited the Peace Memorial Museum on December 3, 2018.

H.E. Mrs. Robiamny Nadesha Balcácer, Minister of Youth of the Dominican Republic, met with Mayor Matsui, visited the Peace Memorial Museum and the Atomic Bomb Dome, and offered flowers at the Cenotaph for the Atomic Bomb Victims on January 17, 2019.

H.E. Mr. Jabbarov Mikayil, Minister of Taxes of the Republic of Azerbaijan, visited the Peace Memorial Museum and the Atomic Bomb Dome and offered a flower wreath at the Cenotaph for the Atomic Bomb Victims on March 9, 2019.

H.Ｅ. Sayyid Badr bin Saud bin Harib Al Busaidi, Minister Responsible for Defence Affairs, met with Mayor Matsui, visited the Peace Memorial Museum, and offered a flower wreath at the Cenotaph for the Atomic Bomb Victims on March 29, 2019.
