State Ministers in FY2019
Hon. Sagala Gajendra Ratnayaka, Minister of Ports, Shipping, and Southern Development of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka, offered flowers at the Cenotaph for the Atomic Bomb Victims, visited the Peace Memorial Museum, and listened to an atomic bomb survivor’s testimony on April 19, 2019.
Mr. Heiko Maas, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Federal Republic of Germany, offered a flower wreath at the Cenotaph for the Atomic Bomb Victims, escorted by Mayor Matsui, on November 22, 2020. Minister Mass also visited the Peace Memorial Museum and listened to an atomic bomb survivor’s testimony later that day.
H.E. Mr. Md. Tazul Islam, Minister of Local Government and Rural Development of the People's Republic of Bangladesh, visited the Peace Memorial Museum, the Cenotaph for the Atomic Bomb Victims, and the Atomic Bomb Dome on December 4, 2019.
H.E. Mr. Takiddine Youssouf, Secretary of State in charge of Cooperation at the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, visited the Atomic Bomb Dome, offered flowers at the Cenotaph for the Atomic Bomb Victims, and visited the Peace Memorial Museum on January 18, 2020. Secretary Youssouf also listened to an atomic bomb survivor’s testimony later that day.
