Heads of International Organizations in FY2009

H.E. Mr. Miguel d'Escoto Brockmann, President of the 63rd session of the United Nations General Assembly, visited Hiroshima to attend the Peace Memorial Ceremony.

After attending the ceremony on August 6, 2009, Mr. d'Escoto listened to an A-bomb survivor's testimony, visited the Cenotaph for the Atomic Bomb Victims and the Peace Memorial Museum.

Later that day Mr. d'Escoto met with Mayor Akiba.
