Ward Office Hours and Closings

  • Hours of Operation: 8:30 am to 5:15 pm
  • Closed: Weekends, National Holidays, December 29-January 3, August 6

Note 1: Notifications regarding family registers can still be filed at the Security Office of the Higashi Ward Office afterhours or on days the office is closed.

Note 2: The Hesaka Liaison Office will also be closed on Tuesdays and, if a national holiday falls on a Tuesday, the following Wednesday, in addition to the days listed above.

Note 3: You can use the Citizens ServiceCounter (Japanese) to apply for copies of official documents such as your Resident Records (Certificates of Residence) on weekends, national holidays, and when the ward office is closed.
