Coverage of the Peace Memorial Ceremony

Coverage of the Peace Memorial Ceremony is possible in a specified limited area. In principle, permission to cover the Ceremony is granted to the following organizations only:

(1) Media Organizations

• Member companies of the Japan Newspaper Publishers and Editors Association
• Member companies of the National Association of Commercial Broadcasters in Japan
• Member companies of the Foreign Press in Japan
• Foreign media organizations that apply via the Foreign Press Center
• Member companies of the Hiroshima City Press Club (herein City Press Club)

 (2) Others

• Public institutions, documentary, filming, and photography companies, etc.

Journalists affiliated with organizations that are not members of the Foreign Press in Japan (FPIJ) should contact the Media Relations Division, Foreign Press Center https://fpcj.jp/en/contact/＜外部リンク＞

To cover the Ceremony, you must wear a press pass issued by the City and an armband clearly displaying the name of your company. Without these, you may be refused entry to certain areas or activities.

The press pass application and press coverage regulations of the Peace Memorial Ceremony are as follows. After reading these regulations and double-checking your application details, please fill out and submit your press pass application to Public Relations Division (koho@city.hiroshima.lg.jp).
