State Ministers in FY2013

H.E. Dr. Nguyen Thi Kim Tien, Vietnam's Minister of Health, visited the Peace Memorial Museum and offered a flower wreath at the Cenotaph for the Atomic Bomb Victims on April 2, 2013.

H.E. Mr. Julio Christian Jimenez Molina, INDER President of the Republic of Cuba visited Hiroshima and met with Mayor Matsui on September 27, 2013.

Prior to the meeting, Mr. Jimenez Molina visited the Peace Memorial Museum and offered flowers at the Cenotaph for the Atomic Bomb Victims.

H.E. Dr. Rame Buja, Minister of Education, Science and Technology of the Republic of Kosovo visited Hiroshima and met with Mayor Matsui on October 7, 2013.

Prior to the meeting, Minister Buja visited the Peace Memorial Museum and offered flowers at the Cenotaph for the Atomic Bomb Victims.

H.E. Ms. Catherine Ashton, EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy visited Hiroshima and met with Mayor Matsui on October 31, 2013.

Prior to the meeting, Ms. Ashton visited the Peace Memorial Museum and offered a flower wreath at the Cenotaph for the Atomic Bomb Victims.

H.E. Dr. Omar Zakhilwal, Minister of Finance of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan visited Hiroshima and met with Mayor Matsui on February 4, 2014.

On the previous day, Minister Zakhilwal visited the Peace Memorial Museum, offered a flower wreath at the Cenotaph for the Atomic Bomb Victims, and listened to an A-bomb survivor's testimony.

H.E. Dr. Dionisio da Costa Babo Soares, Minister for Justice of the Democratic Republic of Timor-Leste, visited the Peace Memorial Museum and offered a flower wreath at the Cenotaph for the Atomic Bomb Victims on March 26, 2014.

Minister Soares also listened to an A-bomb survivor's testimony later on that day.
