We will be accepting seat reservations for international residents and visitors for the 2024 Peace Memorial Ceremony to be held on Tuesday, August 6. Simultaneous interpretation (Japanese-to-English only) provided through receivers will be available.
■ Details
・Time and date: August 6, 2024 (Tue) 8 am-8:50 am
・Venue: Peace Memorial Park (Nakajima-cho, Naka-ku, Hiroshima)
・Eligible participants: International residents and visitors who need Japanese-to-English interpretation
・Number of seats available: Approx. 450 seats (first-come, first-served basis)
※Please note that each group may only reserve up to a maximum of 20 seats (including a maximum of three Japanese attendants).
・Reservation period: Monday, June 3, 9 am to Friday, June 28, 5 pm【Applications now closed】
Note: Seating is limited, and we will stop accepting reservations as soon as all seats have been filled. If you wish to attend the ceremony, please make a reservation as soon as possible.
■ How to Reserve Seats
Download and fill out the Reservation Form for Attendance at the Peace Memorial Ceremony and List of Attendees. Submit both forms to the Internationalization Division via email (see below) and we will contact you regarding whether your application is successful after receiving the forms.
Note:
・We reserve the right to cancel reservations if we believe multiple reservations have been made for the same group.
・We will not accept reservations via telephone. Thank you for your kind understanding.

When submitting by email, please make the subject line to “Peace Memorial Ceremony International Seats”, followed by your name or organization name in parentheses,
e.g.:
Peace Memorial Ceremony International Seats (Hayley Waldon)
Peace Memorial Ceremony International Seats (Heiwa Club)
・If you do not require interpretation (through a simultaneous interpretation receiver), please be seated in the general seating area (Japanese language only). No advance application is required for general seating, which will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
