Presidents/Speakers of National Parliaments in FY2018
H.E. Mr. Eunicio Lopes de Oliveira, President of the Federal Senate of the Federative Republic of Brazil, offered a flower wreath at the Cenotaph for the Atomic Bomb Victims, escorted by Mayor Matsui, on April 19, 2018. President Oliveira also visited the Peace Memorial Museum, listened to an atomic bomb survivor’s testimony, and visited the Atomic Bomb Dome later that day.
H.E. Mr. Reinhard Todt, President of the Federal Council of the Republic of Austria, visited the Peace Memorial Museum and the Atomic Bomb Dome and offered a flower wreath at the Cenotaph for the Atomic Bomb Victims on May 15, 2018. President Todt also met with Mayor Matsui later that day.
