Presidents/Speakers of National Parliaments in FY2009

H.E. Dr. Přemysl Sobotka, President of the Senate of the Czech Republic, visited Hiroshima and met with Mayor Akiba on December 3, 2009.

Prior to the meeting, Dr. Sobotka visited the Peace Memorial Museum and offered a flower wreath at the Cenotaph for the Atomic Bomb Victims.

H.E. Mr. Md. Abdul Hamid Advocate, Speaker of the Parliament of the People's Republic of Bangladesh, visited the Peace Memorial Museum on December 12, 2009.

H.E. Mr. Bogdan Borusewicz, Speaker of the Senate of the Republic of Poland, visited Hiroshima and met with Mayor Akiba on March 18, 2010.

Prior to the meeting, Speaker Borusewicz visited the Peace Memorial Museum and offered a flower wreath at the Cenotaph for the Atomic Bomb Victims.
