Travel packages to and from Tokyo were added to the Go To Travel domestic tourism campaign, and on October 1, the Setouchi Hiroshima Destination Travel Campaign also began, a project which is hoped to help further support the tourism industry of our city.
With the start of the Go To Travel campaign, we have seen increases in the numbers of those travelling, and while it has not necessarily led to an increase in infections, I would like to ask that each of you continue to follow the same preventative measures as you have been in order to prevent the spread of infection while also stimulating the economy, as well as to become accustomed to appropriate patterns of behavior based on the New Way of Life.
