International Schools

In Hiroshima City, there are schools especially for international residents, such as the Hiroshima International School, which conducts classes in English, and the Hiroshima Korean School, which conducts classes in Korean.
International schools are categorized as miscellaneous schools; these institutions offer curriculums equivalent to those of Japanese kindergarten, elementary, junior and senior high schools, and students graduating from some of these international schools can continue on to attend Japanese colleges/universities.
