Heads of State/Prime Ministers in FY2017

H.E. Mr. Bohuslav Sobotka, Prime Minister of the Czech Republic, visited Hiroshima and met with Mayor Matsui on June 30, 2017.  On the same day, Prime Minister Sobotka visited the Peace Memorial Museum and offered flowers at the Cenotaph for the Atomic Bomb Victims, escorted by Mayor.

H. E. Mr. Maithripala Sirisena, President of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka, offered a flower wreath at the Cenotaph for the Atomic Bomb Victims, escorted by Mayor Matsui, on March 15, 2018.  President Sirisena also visited the Peace Memorial Museum and the Atomic Bomb Dome later that day.
