Heads of State in FY2013
H.E. Mr. Christopher J. Loeak, President of the Republic of the Marshall Islands, visited the Peace Memorial Museum and offered a flower wreath at the Cenotaph for the Atomic Bomb Victims, escorted by Deputy Mayor Nishito on February 15, 2014.
President Loeak also listened to an A-bomb survivor's testimony later that day.
H.E. Mr. Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, President of the Federal Republic of Somalia visited Hiroshima on March 15, 2014.
After meeting with Mayor Matsui, President Hassan offered a flower wreath at the Cenotaph for the Atomic Bomb Victims, escorted by the mayor. The president also visited the Peace Memorial Museum and listened to an A-bomb survivor's testimony.
