Product name Tree of Peace Woodcraft Accessories
Product description
The spirit of the surviving trees in your hands—Hiroshima’s peace for the future
These handcrafted wood accessories are made from pruned branches taken from atomic bomb–affected trees that still stand in Hiroshima City today. Branches that were previously treated as industrial waste have been re‑envisioned as meaningful materials carrying a message of peace. Each piece is carefully crafted by hand through the skilled work of artisans.
The product lineup includes a wide variety of everyday items—such as ballpoint pens, keychains, brooches, and tie clips—designed to bring the story of these trees into daily life.
As part of Hiroshima’s 80th Anniversary of the Atomic Bombing projects, the initiative has established a sustainable production system, made possible by the city’s storage and distribution of pruned branches from surviving trees.
A portion of all sales is donated to the City of Hiroshima to help preserve and promote a culture of peace.
