Product name

The Original Hassaku Daifuku

Product description

A popular treat from Innoshima, the birthplace of hassaku citrus fruits!

With the completion of the Innoshima Ōhashi Bridge in 1983, Kashihara Shinichi came up with different variations on our staple confection, mikan mochi filled with citrus fruits, popular since the founding of our company. One of these variations was the hassaku daifuku. In 2013, our company moved from Innoshima to Hiroshima City in order to make our mochi confections into a Hiroshima household name. Highly praised by both bloggers across Japan and local customers alike, this refreshing daifuku combines sweet and tangy hassaku, sweet white bean paste, and the delightful chew of mochi. Loved by people of all ages, our daifuku is a confection with history and personality that has become one of the most popular souvenirs in Hiroshima. As only the freshest hassaku are used in making our daifuku, they are best eaten within three days, giving them a short shelf life, but ensuring that you experience the full flavors of hassaku. Our company strives to create a wholesome product with no unnecessary additives at a price that can't be beat.
