Founded some 200 years ago, the Yahatagawa Sake Brewery's seasonal lightly sparkling nigori (unfiltered) sake is made with Hiroshima-grown Chūsei Shinsenbon rice and spring water from Mt. Gokurakuji. Our sake is made in the kassei style: the final product is coarsely filtered from the matured moromi mash with no additional water or heating techniques used, leaving the yeasts active. The distinct fresh aroma of active sake and the rich flavor nigori sake is known for with a carbonated twist; this sweet sake is sure to please.
