On March 4, 2022, the Government of Japan decided to lift the Semi-State of Emergency in Hiroshima. The same day, the Hiroshima Prefectural Government decided to end implementation of [Re-extended] Intensive COVID-19 Infection Prevention Measures Under Semi-State of Emergency. As such, we have revised our guidelines on events and reopened facilities as follows.
From March 7, 2022 until further notice, our events and gatherings will comply with the Standard Guidelines for Events and Gatherings Organized by the City of Hiroshima (revised March 23, 2022).
Closures and reduction of hours (closing by 9 pm) ended on March 6, 2022. From March 7, facilities resumed normal operations while thoroughly implementing industry-specific COVID-19 measures. Lists (Japanese) of affected facilities are linked below.
Note that some facilities still have restrictions on how you may use them or on the equipment you may use.
Also, please help prevent the spread of infection by wearing a mask, disinfecting your hands, and other measures.
When using facilities, we ask that you apply the Standard Guidelines for Events and Gatherings Organized by the City of Hiroshima (revised March 23, 2022).
