COVID-19 Vaccination Schedule (as of 8/14/2021)

The COVID-19 vaccination schedule for Hiroshima City is as follows:

*Those who will turn 12 by 7/1 are eligible to receive coupons at this time. Those who will turn 12 after 7/1 will receive their coupons in or after the month following the month they turn 12 (ex: if their 12th birthday is in August, they will receive their coupon in or after September).

Those Eligible for Vaccination Priority

The following are eligible for vaccination priority within the 12-64 age group. Those eligible will be able to make priority appointments for their vaccination from the day they receive their coupon until July 30 (Fri) based on the schedule above.

We will confirm that you are eligible for priority when you make your appointment. There is no need to submit any kind of certificate (etc).

Those living/working at welfare facilities (excluding elderly care/disabled care facilities)

Those who live/work at daycares, certified childcare centers, children’s homes, infant homes, self-reliance support facilities, women’s shelters, children’s counseling offices, children’s special needs centers, After-school Kids Clubs (etc).

Elderly care service staff members

Those who work in elderly care service, welfare services for the disabled, support services for disabled children, consultation support services, community life support services (etc).

Citizens with disabilities

Those who have received their Physical Disability Certificate, Special Needs Certificate, Mental Disability Certificate (etc).

 

School staff members

Those working in kindergartens, elementary schools, junior high schools, high schools, secondary schools, special needs schools, universities, specialized higher education institutions, vocational schools (etc).

Staff members at dining establishments offering alcohol in the downtown area

Of the establishments who have received an operating license for dining establishments under the Food Sanitation Act, staff members at those that offer alcohol (including izakaya, bars, and karaoke boxes; excluding delivery and takeout services) and operate in the following areas of Naka-ku in Hiroshima City:

  • 1~5 Ebisu-cho
  • 1~4 Horikawa-cho
  • 1, 8, or 9 Mikawa-cho
  • 1, 6, or 7 Shintenchi
  • All areas of Nagarekawa-cho, Yagenbori, Kanayama-cho, Yayoi-cho, Tanaka-machi, and Nishi-hiratsuka-cho
