In Hiroshima City, the weekly number of newly reported COVID-19 infections per 100,000 people has improved from Level 4 and has been steadily maintained at Level 2 since January 18. Measures in Hiroshima city will thus be gradually eased based on the state on infections in the city as well as Hiroshima Prefecture’s Third Round of Intensive COVID-19 Infection Prevention Measures.
The temporary closure of municipal facilities will end on February 7 and facilities will reopen from February 8 (Monday) in strict adherence to proper infection prevention measures.
Please note that some facilities are normally closed on Mondays. Please see the PDF above for information about each facility.
From February 8, 2021, measures regarding reduced opening hours for municipal facilities will be eased; facilities that normally remain open later than 9 pm will reduce their hours until 9pm.
When using facilities, we ask for your cooperation with infection prevention measures such as wearing a mask and sanitizing your hands.
Please note that usage of facilities and equipment (etc) may differ depending on the facility.
