In Hiroshima City, the weekly number of newly reported COVID-19 infections per 100,000 people has improved from Level 4 and has been steadily maintained at Level 2 since January 18. It has thus been decided that measures in Hiroshima City will gradually be eased, based on the state of infections in city as well as Hiroshima Prefecture’s Third Round of Intensive COVID-19 Infection Prevention Measures. From February 8, 2021, the guidelines will be amended as per the following and will remain in place until February 21, 2021.
Events and gatherings organized by the City of Hiroshima will be held in strict adherence to the infection prevention measures described in the Standard Guidelines for Events and Gatherings Organized by the City of Hiroshima (revised 11/30/2020), as stipulated by the requirements for organizing events (etc) detailed in the Third Round of Intensive COVID-19 Infection Prevention Measures.
We ask that all citizens and private entities organizing events and gatherings adhere to these guidelines as well.

Facilities that normally remain open until after 9 pm will reduce their hours until 9 pm. However, those who have prior permission to use facilities after 9pm, and for whom cancellation is difficult, will be permitted to do so.
