This fund pays 80% of your wage before taking leave (with a maximum daily amount of 11,000 yen) according to the record of leave forced to be taken.

Available primarily for those who have been placed on temporary leave from their place of employment.

For those having trouble paying their rent because of COVID-19-related loss of income or unemployment, please contact the Call Center for Housing Benefits to see if you are eligible for rent support in which the City of Hiroshima temporarily pays your rent (income restrictions apply).

You may be eligible to delay or reduce your tuition payments for municipal high schools and universities. You may also be eligible to receive textbooks, learning supplies, or school supplies for elementary school and junior high school students. Please see here for a list of who to contact.

You may be eligible to delay or reduce insurance fees for long-term care services, national pension, national health insurance, or medical care for late-stage senior citizens (75 years or older). Please see here for details.
