Resident Records for Non-Japanese Residents

You can obtain a copy of your Resident Record at any municipal office across the nation, although it was previously not possible to do so, except for your local municipal office.

  1. Persons who can make an application
    The person himself/herself or a member of the same household (a proxy cannot make an application even if he/she has a letter of proxy.)
  2. Items required for an application
    Personal identification document (any of the following items; limited to those that are valid)
    1. Basic Resident Registration Card (A personal information number for the card is required.)
    2. Residence Card, Special Permanent Resident Certificate, etc.
  3. Commission
    300 yen per copy (Commission amount differs depending on the municipality.)
  4. Places in Hiroshima City where you can obtain a copy of your Resident Record
    Citizens Affairs Division in Ward Offices, Branch Offices

* The Service Corner at Hiroshima City Hall does not issue copies of Resident Records.
