Hospitals and Clinics

If you get sick or injured, find a hospital or clinic with a department that treats your symptoms. Do not forget to bring your health insurance card and some money. Also, since some hospital and clinic staff can only speak Japanese, it may be a good idea to bring along someone who can speak Japanese.

Be aware that outpatient examination hours are different for each hospital and clinic. For emergencies during national holidays or at night, please use the nearest emergency clinic (see page 16).
