Chapter 1 Promoting Citizen-Centered Municipal Government

1 Positive development of social service providers
Social service providers will be fostered through support for the development of civic activity group personnel as well as through collaboration with citizens, NPOs and various businesses.

2 Enhancing functions for the provision and disclosure of general information about the municipal government, public hearings and related consultations
In addition to the promotion of the provision and disclosure of general information about the municipal government, the enrichment of diverse public hearings and consulting facilities will be intently addressed incorporating varied methodologies.

3 Citizen-friendly facilities through adequate maintenance and management
Along with promoting the management and maintenance of citizen-friendly facilities through utilization of the designated manager system, efforts will be increased towards the forming of a consensus among parties involved in urban planning and projects aimed at improving urban areas.
